Our latest Club Fusion entry spans a wide range of music, catching up on what we missed in January and February and previewing what's to come on dance floors in the next few weeks. There's plenty to talk about so let's dive in! John Summit returns with "Shiver," the follow-up to his massive 2023 hit "Where Are You Now," featuring another outstanding vocal performance by Hayla. While this track is a solid floor-filler, it may lean a bit too closely to the magic of its predecessor. However, that won't deter anyone from enjoying its deep atmosphere and haunting vocals. Summit also offers an exceptional update to Temper Trap's "Sweet Disposition," a song that never tires in its various versions. In fact, "Sweet Disposition" is on track to rival Underworld's "Born Slippy" as a DJ favorite for revitalization. Summit's take maintains the original's integrity while adding his unique flair to the track. Both releases are essential for any DJ set. Among the tracks we're excited about is Becky Hill's latest single, "Never Be Alone," from her forthcoming album. The D.O.D remix cleverly incorporates the bass synth riff from Armand Van Helden's 90s remix of "Spin Spin Sugar" by Sneaker Pimps, elevating an already stellar track on the dance floor. Ariana Grande and Dua Lipa also contribute new offerings. Ariana's "Yes, and?" has been stuck in our heads like glue, echoing Madonna's iconic "Vogue" and inspiring numerous mashups. Felix Jahen's version stays true to the original while giving it a contemporary lift. We eagerly anticipate Grande's next album. Dua Lipa's third album seems to explore similar themes as her groundbreaking "Future Nostalgia." Personally, I would have chosen "Training Season" over "Houdini" as the lead single (excluding "Dance the Night Away" from the "Barbie" soundtrack). The songs don't fall flat, but they lack the captivating edge of her previous work. Nevertheless, the remixes manage to elevate them for the dance floor, keeping Lipa relevant in the house music scene. It's time to spotlight emerging DJs you should be following, starting with AVALAN ROKSTON. Currently in Beatport's Top 10 with their remake of Moby's "Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?" they've also released "Faith," a song teased on TikTok for over a month that truly lives up to the hype. The emotional depth of "Faith" is undeniable, especially when the euphoria hits. Their remix of London Grammar's "Strong" from 2023, though new to us, is so impressive it deserves recognition among the top dance songs of last year and has been included here despite ...

This series began in late 2013 when I found myself with some extra time and the desire to create one last epic party throwdown to welcome the new year. Since then, BYOH has become a staple in our collection, a series that our fans rely on us to deliver year after year. Honestly, I've been going non-stop since late October, creating one set after another to keep everyone entertained and, perhaps, a bit distracted from everyday life. I wasn't sure I had another mix in me, but I sat down yesterday and, to my surprise, produced this final set in record time. It's accompanied by a quickly assembled cover art that, while not my finest work, certainly serves its purpose. This set is as raw as they come, which, in my opinion, is part of its charm. It’s a high-octane ride with few breaks, boasting a garage feel that epitomizes this style of mix – imperfections and all. I haven’t previewed it myself, so you’re getting the first listen. Most tracks in this set are alternate versions of popular songs from the year, many of which haven't appeared in any of our other sets. There are also some familiar originals that seamlessly fit the fast pace, along with a few notable late-year releases. Highlights include "I'm So Excited" by Sound Of Legend, a fresh take on the early '80s Pointer Sisters hit, "Hey DJ" by Joel Corry, reminiscent of early millennium tracks like Ian Van Dahl's "Castles In the Sky", a new version of Eddie Murphy's late '80s hit "Party All the Time," redone by Hannah Laing & HVRR, and "Make Me Happy" by Patrick Topping, a welcome return from an artist we haven't heard from in a while. I won’t be making any tweaks to this final set, so feel free to dive in and download it. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported Party Favorz, especially after our slow start this year. I won't stoop to the level of a certain individual who disrupted our operations out of jealousy and unprofessionalism by naming names but there's a special place in hell for this asshole. Your support has been invaluable, particularly as our operating costs have tripled. You mean everything to us and we couldn't have done it without your continued support. Here’s wishing everyone a happy and healthy New Year. Stay positive, and 2024 will be your year. I’ll be taking off most of January not to rest, but to revamp our website with something fresh and exciting. Our current theme is showing its age whose team seemingly took over its development without much support,

A prominent trend in today’s music consumption is streaming, a phenomenon that gained even more importance during the pandemic, impacting the dance music industry significantly. While festivals still thrive with their EDM-centric, visually spectacular shows, club venues have suffered, leading to the closure of the Billboard Dance Club chart due to reduced DJ feedback from large venues. Even in major cities, where nightlife is concentrated, this shift has resulted in a decrease in the volume of new dance music releases. At Party Favorz, we've felt this reduction since last year. With less music comes fewer standout hits, and many of today’s hits often sample popular tracks from 10 to 20 years ago, repurposing these melodies into new creations. However, the silver lining in fewer releases is that it allows gems like "Water" by Tyla, "Body Moving" by Eliza Rose and Calvin Harris, and Peggy Gou’s hit "(It Goes Like) Nanana" to shine, reaching a broader audience. In a different era, these tracks might have been overshadowed by a flood of new music. Exploring other dance music genres, artists have reinvigorated styles like Drum 'n' Bass. While not our personal favorite, especially in a full DJ set, it has its place. Becky Hill's "Disconnect" is so Punk Rock that the D'n'B production by Chase & Status was a natural fit for the song. Issey Cross’s "Bittersweet Goodbye" is another significant Drum 'n' Bass track, infusing the genre's energy with orchestral elements borrowed from the Verge alternative classic "Bittersweet Symphony," which got them in hot water for borrowing the string section from the Rolling Stones "The Last Time." Despite its potential, this genre can be challenging for DJs without advanced equipment to blend with contemporary dance music. Still, Drum 'n' Bass is seeing a small rebirth when we were hoping for a Breaks resurgence in mainstream dance which has shown a lot of promise lately. We'll have to wait and see what 2024 brings. Latin House has also seen a rise in popularity. Jain’s "Makeba" classic emerged as a major hit this year with the Ian Aisher remix and reminiscent of the "Macarena" with its catchy refrain. We selected Axel Paerel’s version for this set, focusing on the instrumental part that really gets people moving. This approach is similar to the initial instrumental version of "Macarena," which later had lyrics added for broader appeal. Other Latin-influenced hits include "Marianela" by Merk & Kremont x Hugel vs. Lirico En La Casa and "Let's Go" by will.i.am and J Balvin.

This ambitious endeavor involved a deep dive into our 2023 Club Fusion and Peak Hour releases to compile the most impactful dance anthems that left their mark on the dance floor and resonated as unforgettable earworms. Our selection process focused on streaming numbers from platforms like YouTube and Spotify, complemented by our own personal bias. We've bypassed conventional charts like Billboard, seeking out the true gems that define the year's dance music zeitgeist, far from the repetitive playlists of mainstream charts. Celebrating Variety: The Standout Dance Anthems of 2023 The landscape of 2023's dance music was marked by an exhilarating variety. While many tracks echo the timeless allure of House Music, this year's biggest dance hits have ingeniously woven elements from classic dance anthems into fresh, vibrant creations. This blend of homage and innovation has injected a rich diversity into today's dance music scene, moving beyond monolithic trends. 2023's Dance Music Evolution: From House Roots to 'Jump House' Innovation One standout trend we've christened at Party Favorz is "Jump House," a thrilling evolution in dance music tempo, breaking the 130 BPM ceiling and soaring towards 145 BPM (and sometimes higher). Volume 1 of our Top Dance Songs of 2023 features these high-energy tracks, including hits like cassö, Raye & D-Block Europe's massive "Prada" (142 BPM), a Techno reworking of the Rihanna classic "Disturbia" (141 BPM), Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding's "Miracle" (143 BPM), "Desire" by Calvin Harris & Sam Smith (140 BPM), "When We Were Young (The Logical Song)" by David Guetta & Kim Petras (140 BPM), and many others. These tracks blend pulsating beats with a nod to early millennium Trance, Techno, and House reminiscent of the Hard Dance era of the 2000s. Yet, this surge in BPM doesn't overshadow the enduring appeal of Future House and classic House Music. Tracks like John Summit & Hayla's "Where You Are" and Peggy Gou's "(It Goes Like) Nanana" have dominated the scene, proving that the heart of dance music still beats strong in its foundational genres. At Party Favorz, we've long championed diversity in dance music, advocating against a homogenized sound. Thankfully, 2023 has been a year of rich musical diversity, breaking away from the generic soundscapes that often dominate mainstream platforms. This collection features the hottest dance club songs of the 2023 holiday season, and they are fire! Eclectic Beats: From Disco House to Tech House The set kicks off with Dom Dolla's "Saving Up," a feel-good Disco House track that radiates warmth and positivity. This song isn't just good; it's a contender for the year's best feel-good anthem. The soulful "Water" by Tyla has been making some waves after teaming up with Marshmello for a rework bringing it into the electronic dance music spectrum. However, Sak Noel picked it up and reworked it into a big House floor anthem making it a tune to revel in on the dance floor. Legendary Vibes: Cher and Classic Remixes In an unusual but welcome twist, Cher's "DJ Play a Christmas Song" makes it into the mix. This holiday tune has taken the top spot on Billboard's Dance/Electronic chart, giving her a #1 song on a Billboard chart for the past 7 decades — a testament to Cher's unwavering appeal. Robin Schulz punches up the song for modern dance floors giving that extra heft to ensure crossover success. Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike, Tiesto, and W&W have reinvented Dido's "Thank You" into a festival-ready big room remix. It's a rendition that's both nostalgic and fresh, capturing attention on multipile Spotify top ten lists. Fresh Takes on Familiar Tunes The one official remix that was left off last week's Club Taylor Volume Two was the LP Giobbi take on "Cruel Summer." It didn't quite fit the overall context of that set but is so good setting off a Melodic House vibe — we made room for it here. You may have remembered our inclusion of the Tears For Fears 80's feelgood classic "Everybody Wants To Rule the World" remixed by Niiko & Swae on our "Summer Farewell" dance party mix. Well, Tiesto came across it on Soundcloud and immediately picked it up and remixed it where it's currently riding high on Beatport's Top 10 Dance charts. It's possibly one of our favorite songs from the 80's and the extra energy Tiesto adds is just the fuel it needs to reach a whole new audience. New Collaborations and Remixes Sofi Tukker, teaming up with The Knocks on "One On One," delivers funk and seduction through Sophie Hawley-Weld's captivating vocals. It's a track that combines fun with a touch of exotic flair when she sings portions of it in Portuguese. Y'all may have remembered our suggestion that Becky Hill's massive "Disconnect" should be remixed in a more DJ-friendly Breakbeat style awhile back. Well, we got it in the Franky Wah remix and it doesn't disappoint. The remix keeps all of the elements of the original Dubstep version but provides a more club feel ...

We kick things off with a smooth blend in "Let's Do It Tonight," which marries Daft Punk's iconic "One More Time" with Pitbull & Ne-Yo's "Give Me Everything." Daft Punk doesn't stop there; Sean Finn & Ghostbusterz offer their own take on the 2013 hit "Get Lucky." Moving through the set, Madonna's classic "Like a Prayer" gets a current spin by Lady Bee. Other gems include Johnny Gamble's update on Nelly's "Hot In Herre" and a refreshed version of No Doubt's "Hella Good" by Niko the Kid & Benson with a multitude more too numerous to mention. Fresh Dance Club Anthems and Genre Trends Marlon Hoffstadt & DJ Daddy Trance are shaking things up with "It's That Time," a Jump House track that's irresistible. Jazzy follows suit with another chart-topper in the same genre, "Feel It." Kry (IT) and Per QX aren't far behind, delivering the sizzling house track "Get That Groove On." Sunday Scaries & Kaleena Zanders give us "Dance No More," which features a familiar but elusive hook. Neither would be out of place in our Funky House series. Chart Dominators and the Latest Sensation James Hype and Kim Petras are killing it with "Drums," a track currently topping the Beatport Dance Chart. Close on their heels are Arcraze, Joey Valence, & Brae with "Heard It Like This," a Bass House track that's making waves. Amsterdam's Mau P is the latest sensation with "Dress Code," a track that's taking over DJ setlists and charts alike. Probably the biggest dance club anthem at the moment is "Prada" by cassö, RAYE & D-Block Europe, which was featured on our "Summer Farewll 2023" set. We now have official remixes and Ronnie Picitti delivers a high volume Trance remix that's guaranteed to the light the dance floor on fire. We have another electrifying remix going up on our Peak Hour set next week. So, whether it's hot in the clubs now or soon will be, you can count on Party Favorz to deliver the freshest dance club anthems. Remember, we thrive on your support. Our goal? To make you feel the pulsating energy of the latest club songs, unforgettable party tracks, and revamped classics, all blended into one seamless dance party mix. Launching with the unmistakable vibes of Fisher and Kita Alexander's "Atmosphere" - a tune that just breathes the balmy embrace of the season - this new installment in our Club Fusion series is a whirlpool of auditory delight. Bebe Rexha and David Guetta are back with "One in a Million," following up their colossal hit "I'm Good (Blue)." Alan Walker's collaboration with Zak Abel, "Endless Summer," is a summer dance party anthem that will surely leave you craving more. Tiesto and Swedish House Mafia are at it again, this time gifting us dancefloor stunners "Drifting" and "Ray of Solar." Swathed in entrancing beats and ethereal vocals, these tracks are must-haves for any dance party mix. Sonny Fodera, MK, and Clementine Douglas create magic with "Asking," a tune that's already sparking intriguing mashups, like one with Solu Music's "Fade" from 2006. Meanwhile, Peggy Gou's "(It Goes Like) Nanana" receives a techno transformation by Maddix, intertwining the famous ATB riff from 9PM (Till I Come), taking the track to a whole new level. Dubstep, known for its distinctive and unconventional beat, is making a significant splash. Issey Cross's "Bittersweet Goodbye" and Becky Hill's "Disconnect" are shining examples of mainstream crossover hits. Tiesto's remixing skills turn these Dubstep tracks into something entirely new, providing DJs with additional options for their sets. Keep in mind that the tradional Dubstep is not DJ-friendly so we went with alternate versions courtesy of Tiesto even though his remix of "Bittersweet Goodbye" still retains the 87 BPM signature traditional of Dubstep. The dance music scene is witnessing a revolutionary shift with the emergence of high-speed tracks that range from 138 to 145BPM. These aren't your typical Hard Dance pieces, as they bypass the Techno nuances, embracing instead the conventional House Music style. This has led to the birth of an entirely new and as-yet-unnamed genre. For our purposes at Party Favorz, we've coined this captivating style as "Jump House" Jump House made its mark with the success of last year's track B.O.T.A (Baddest of Them All) by Eliza Rose & Interplanetary Criminal. This song opened the floodgates, encouraging an array of artists to join the wave. Our end of summer dance party mix, Summer Farewell 2023,

With it comes a soundtrack like no other - the top dance songs of summer 2023. HEAT 2023 episode has curated an eclectic selection that will take you on a wild ride through House Music, Tech House, Future House, and Progressive House. Let's kick things off with a blast from the past - Rihanna's bop "Don't Stop The Music", reincarnated by ATCG. This version brings new vigor to a beloved classic, infusing it with an electrifying House beat that commands you to get moving. Next up, Tim Hidgem transports us back to the 80s with his reinterpretation of George Kranz's industrial marvel, "Din Daa Daa". Hidgem adds a fresh twist to the original, turning it into an irresistible summer anthem. Who can resist the allure of 90s techno, especially when it's the iconic "It's A Fine Day" by Miss Jane? Cloonee takes on the challenge of modernizing this classic, resulting in "Fine Night", a track that's as tantalizing as a starlit summer evening. There's also an excellent version called "A Fine Anthem" by Skrillex x Boys Noize which will be making an apperance on next week's Peak Hour release. And that's not all. The EDM maestro Zedd breathes new life into "Where You Are" extending the life of this massive hit by John Summitt & Hayla from the spring. The remix strikes the perfect balance between the charm of the original and Zedd's signature electro-infused style. As the sun reaches its zenith, we're whisked away down under with Australia's Midnight Dance Party and their sun-soaked anthem, "Sunshine". This tune is quintessential summer - warm, carefree, and absolutely irresistible. When it comes to top dance songs of summer 2023, nothing captures the season's vibrancy better than the high-energy beats from Gabry Ponte & Hosanna's "One By One" which samples the 90s the Deep Dish remix of the House Music classic "Make the World Go 'Round", Nathan Dawe, Joel Corry & Ella Henderson's "0800 Heaven", and Calvin Harris' collaboration with Sam Smith, "Desire". These are the tracks you'll find yourself blasting on repeat as the temperatures rise. Switch Disco throws a curveball our way with their energetic mashup "React" and Inpetto's remix of "Toca Me" by Fragma. The result? A floor-filling masterpiece. This playlist speaks for itself, but we've also included some standout tracks from 2022 like "I'm Good (Blue)" by David Guetta and Bebe Rexha and "Drugs From Amsterdam" by Mau P. These tracks dominated dance clubs with their lasting appeal. One of these persistent tunes is "Moving All Around (Jumpin')" by Schak & the late Kim English, a high-octane song that gained significant traction towards the end of 2022. Due to its irresistible catchiness, Party Favorz confidently places it among the best EDM songs of 2023. Among the new entries, Kylie Minogue's contagious "Padam Padam" leads the pack. This track has exploded across Dance Clubs and looks set to re-establish the Australian diva on the pop charts. Also creating a stir are "To Be Real" by Wuki & Lee Foss featuring the sensational Cheryl Lynn, and the mesmerizing "Paradise" from Sophie & the Giants' collaboration with Purple Disco Machine. Rita Ora revives the 1999 alt-dance classic "Praise You" by Fatboy Slim in her latest work, "Praising You." The reimagined track retains the original's uplifting elements and cool vibes, proving the resurgence of classic hits (like "I'm Good (Blue)" — a take on Eiffel 65's 1999 classic "Blue (Da Ba Dee)") in the Top EDM scene. To round off, Kelly Clarkson returns with a new album featuring her collaboration with David Guetta on "Favorite Kind Of High," notable for its brilliant synths and catchy hook. It's a testament to Kelly's status as a true artist and ardent supporter of LGBTQ+ causes. Other than these, all tracks on the "Catch-Up 2023" compilation should already be on your EDM radar and included in your Apple Music or Spotify playlist. Stay tuned for more Top EDM tracks that define the Dance Club scene later this summer. Until the next time...ENJOY! As we gear up for the summer season, 'Here We Go Again' is packed with the biggest dance hits that are sure to keep you grooving on the dancefloor. Kicking off the set is "On & On" by Armin van Buuren & Punctual featuring Alika, a catchy track with infectious beats and smooth vocals that will get you moving from the first beat. Next up is "Crying On the Dancefloor" by Endless Summer, Sam Feldt & Jonas Blue with Violet Days, which samples the iconic 1999 classic "Better Off Alone" by Alice Deejay, giving it a fresh and modern twist that will make you want to dance all night long. "Finally" by Jonas Blue & Rani is another standout track in this mix, featuring a sample from the Freemason's "Disco's Revenge" by Gusto, which itself was based on an obscure 80s dance track. This fusion of old and new creates a nostalgic yet current vibe that is sure to get the party going. "Baby Don't Hurt Me" by David Guetta, Anne-Marie & Coi Leray is another highlight, sampling the 90s Eurodance classic "What Is Love" by Haddaway, bringing back memories of the golden era of dance music. The set also includes the remake of the 2001 Khia Hip-Hop classic "My Neck, My Back" by KVSH & Reezer, which adds a fresh and modern twist to the original, as well as the high-energy "Miracle" by Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding, a pulsating track that will get your heart racing on the dancefloor. And let's not forget "Player" by Cori Leray, which samples the early 80s Rap classic "The Message" by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, adding a touch of nostalgia to the mix. Two tracks that cannot be ignored in this set are "Where You Are" by John Summit & Hayla and Pink's remake of the Prince-penned Sinead O'Connor classic "Nothing Compares To You". The Sintra remix of "Where You Are" provides a smooth and seamless flow in the mix, but the Sak Noel and Olive Oil remixes are also worth checking out for a more energetic vibe. As for Pink's cover of "Nothing Compares To You," she delivers a powerful rendition with her signature vocals, and Dirty Disco's remix adds a club-ready twist that takes the song to new heights. So put on your dancing shoes and get ready to groove to the hottest club dance hits of April with Party Favorz! Don't miss out on the latest beats that blend the past with the present, creating a musical experience that is both nostalgic and fresh. Considering that nothing was dropped from this set, releases haven't been all that stealthy — a pattern I discussed in Top Dance Songs of the Year 2022 Volume 2. That doesn't mean there aren't stellar releases because there are but the trend appears to be major recording artists allowing DJs to remix their releases without having to commission them. The elephant in the room is the massive "Flowers" by Miley Cyrus and even P!nk's latest "Trustfall".  Neither of these releases was accompanied by official remixes but there is a boatload of bootlegs. Frankly, that saves the labels on marketing costs while extending these fabulous ladies' brands. The same appears to be happening with Sam Smith's latest "I'm Not Here To Make Friends". No worries though, because Party Favorz has these artists covered. There are some big releases included in this set but a couple of standouts a worth mentioning. Sofi Tukker along with veteran DJs Kx5  (Kaskade and Deadmau5) have dropped the peak hour bomb "Sacrifice" that's rightfully blowing up everywhere. The other track blowing up right now is "Work With My Love" by Alok & James Arthur. The familiar sample the song uses is from "Lola's Theme" by The Shapeshifters. For this set, we went with the equally stellar club version of the song, which adds even more muscle to the original. Honorable mention goes to one of last year's Top Dance Songs "Turn On the Lights (Again)" by Fred Again.. & Swedish House Mafia and featuring Future. The Anyma version pumps up the original breakbeat version, which is perfect for clubs and festivals alike. I would like to discuss possibly putting a moratorium on sampling and remakes of certain classics. I've often discussed that "Love Sensation" by Loleatta Holloway is the most sampled song in music history. Granted, I don't have any statistics to back that up rather enough real-world experience to have come across it more times than I care to. Still, it samples one of our favorite divas and so, she gets a pass. Besides, the song is chock-full of sample-worthy bits that the temptation to flip it is too much. Instead, I'm talking about these oft-recycled songs: 1) "Sweet Dreams" by Eurythmics — please, just stop with the remakes and the mashups. It was once fun but now, you've ruined a classic song from the 80s. 2) "Crazy In Love" by Beyonce - I have better bootlegs of this song than the plethora of recent remixes (and there's a lot). Just stop. You're embarrassing yourself. 3) "Children" by Robert Miles — What was once a classic Trance song has now been stripped of its original elo...

Well, folks, after climbing out of the pandemic only to be hit by high inflation with rising costs in gas, food, and housing, you name it — I'd say 2022 has been an uneven year at best. Our household capped the year off with flooding of our unit from the 4th floor down. It reeks to high heaven of mildew in here and the complex is moving us into a hotel later today because our home is in complete disrepair. We managed to save our furniture and my workstation but the smell is so bad it's messing with my sinuses and I need to leave before my right eye starts bulging out of the socket. I have previous experience in this area and mold and mildew are not something you want to mess around with. While the Blow Your Own Horn series is typically meant to be created as a giant end-of-year celebration that's created in one sitting to give it a live feel — I had to piece this together over a few days just to finish it. I haven't had a chance to preview most of it yet so, fingers crossed. I want to thank every one of you that has stuck with Party Favorz through thick and thin. The future of my baby is still up in the air and those decisions will be finalized by the spring. Until then, I hope everyone stays safe and piss off your neighbors by turning up the ultimate New Year Dance Party mix. In short, play this mother fucker LOUD! See you next year. ENJOY!!! While 2022 hasn't been a standout year for club music, there were still some incredible songs that deserve recognition. However, it's worth noting that many new releases seem to be dominated by a select group of artists, resulting in a familiar and somewhat stale style. This repetitive approach, often dark and somewhat depressing, has left the industry craving originality. Regardless, these two volume reprsent the best dance songs of the year for 2022. Unfortunately, new releases have been scarce, and breakout hits even rarer. Typically, we witness at least three massive hits that carry over into the following year, but this time, they are noticeably absent. Even the revival of NuDisco has become tiresome, as repetitive beats with different lyrics no longer captivate audiences. Disco, once a diverse and vibrant genre, is not accurately represented in today's music landscape. The industry lacks the juice and originality that made it so thrilling, even when sampling older songs. Will 2023 be the year that Madonna, Janet Jackson, and Rihanna, accompanied by their tours, breathe life into this stale industry? While their tours are sure to be a success, their impact on the dance floor remains uncertain. Personally, I have longed for Madonna to revisit her early sound with a modern twist, but it seems she has disregarded my advice. However, she has the potential to achieve the elusive middle-aged global #1 hit that brought Cher back to the top of the pop charts in 1998. Perhaps she will surprise us after all. Moving on to Rihanna, her contribution to the Wakanda Forever theme song was forgettable, similar to Beyoncé's delivery for Lion King. However, with her upcoming performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, new music is likely on the horizon. Let's hope it doesn't resemble "Lift Me Up" from her forthcoming album. Regarding Janet, most of the buzz revolves around her tour, though she did mention that new music is in the works. While I'd love to be pleasantly surprised, I remain doubtful. In 2023, Latino music has had a significant impact, transcending barriers and achieving tremendous crossover success across the Americas. This wave is even more substantial than the explosion of Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, and Shakira from 1999 to 2001. The remarkable aspect is that most of these artists are accomplishing this while singing in their native language, marking a major milestone. Remixes ranging from Big Room to House Music perfectly complement their songs. Party Favorz eagerly anticipates more from these artists,

Rest assured, this compilation includes an array of songs from various sub-genres of dance music - House Music, Tech House, Future House, Progressive House, NuDisco, to name a few. Featuring songs from top artists like Beyonce, Tiesto, Alok, Sigala, David Guetta, and more, this compilation is a testament to the resilience and vibrancy of the dance music scene in 2022. Each song in this list has left an indelible mark on the dance music scene and continues to thrill listeners on the dance floor. Whether it's Beyonce's soulful "Break My Soul" or Tiesto's catchy "Money," each track in this compilation offers a unique vibe that adds to the diverse and dynamic nature of dance music. Other standout tracks include "Love Is Gone" by SLANDER, "I Was Made For Lovin' You" by Oliver Heldens, "About Damn Time" by Lizzo, and the list goes on. These tracks capture the energy and euphoria associated with dance music, creating an intoxicating blend of beats and rhythms that never fail to get people moving. Despite the ongoing pandemic and the subsequent repercussions on various music industries, especially the dance music industry, Party Favorz continues to be a beacon of hope for the fans of the dance music genre. Our commitment to curate and compile the best dance songs has remained steadfast. While most charts have lost their relevance due to shifts in the music industry, we've managed to keep our finger on the pulse of the dance music scene. Over the past 15 years, Party Favorz has offered the most comprehensive picture of the biggest dance songs of any given year, dating back to 1999. We delve into various facets of dance music, ensuring no underground hit, fan favorite, or chart-topper is left behind. Our compilation includes bootleg remixes of popular songs that were not originally meant for the dance floor but gained traction in clubs due to their popularity on radio or streaming platforms. The dance music landscape has shifted significantly. Most record labels no longer see the need to hire professional DJs to remix their pop releases. Instead, they rely on bedroom DJs and budding producers to do the work for them. You can't put a price on that kind of publicity, and it comes at no cost to the labels. Moreover, independent releases and collaborations with professional remix outlets like Tiesto have led to the creation of many dance hits. The likes of David Guetta have remained relevant as artists continue to seek their expertise in crafting dance hits that transcend the club scene to gain popularity on radio and streaming platforms,

Granted, that variance pulls from a variety of throwback sounds from the 80s and the 90s but to newbies — it's all fresh. There does seem to be a darker element that's been trending lately as opposed to the sunnier NuDisco tracks that got us through the pandemic. Still, I see a major shift coming soon which I'll get more into in the upcoming Top Dance Songs of the Year. Since October, I've been pulled in different directions from a seemingly endless list of outside mini-emergencies that have drained me physically and mentally. I'm surprised I've been able to get any work done but somehow, I manage. I want to apologize to anyone I was late responding to in our support section. It appears all issues have been resolved. I also want to apologize to Taylor Swift for the brain-scattered write-up I created for her induction. I've gone back and cleaned up my writing. That's what happens when I'm too tired to even proofread my work. After re-reading it yesterday, I was facepalming myself out of sheer embarrassment. In other news, I've already compiled the track list for the upcoming Holiday Edition, which features the latest big room tribal house tracks. You can expect that to drop next weekend. Afterward, we'll be dropping the annual Top Dance Songs of the Year featuring the year's biggest dance and club tunes along with our final sendoff of 2021 Blow Your Own Horn to help you bring in the New Year. For now, pop on the 2022 Jingle Electric featuring the top dance songs of the holiday season and create your own jingle jam. Until the next time...ENJOY! This set is designed to keep you grooving with a potent mix of today's chart-toppers and future smash hits. From the pulsating beats of "UnHoly" by Sam Smith and Kim Petras, to the irresistible grooves of "Cuff It" by Beyoncé, "Believe" by ARCRAZE and Goodboys, and "Miss You" by Oliver Tree & Robin Schulz, this collection has it all. But wait, there's more! We've peppered in enduring club dance anthems like "I'm Good (Blue)" by David Guetta & Bebe Rexha, and "Drugs from Amsterdam" by Mau P. These sit alongside high-octane reworks such as "Bad Memories" by Meduza and James Carter, and "Yeah The Girls" by Fisher (OZ) and Meryll. Sprinkle in some reimagined classics like AC/DC's "Highway To Hell by Stereo Players, and you've got the ultimate Club Dance recipe for non-stop party vibes. Before we move on, let's shine a spotlight on a criminally underrated gem: "All By Myself" by Alok, Sigala, and Ellie Goulding. This track boasts all the ingredients to be a Billboard Top 5 hit but seems to be flying under the radar. Could it be a case of ageism sidelining Ellie Goulding? Whatever the reason, she continues to bridge the gap between indie and mainstream, and this new offering samples Depeche Mode's iconic "Enjoy the Silence," making it an instant earworm. An important note for our regular listeners: our annual HW series will be phased out, starting in 2023. Instead, we'll continue to focus on our standard Club Fusion releases which features the latest dance club bangers and future hits. While the Halloween-themed HW sets have had a good run, it's time to retire the gimmick in favor of a more streamlined approach. After all, the perennial inclusion of tracks like Michael Jackson's "Thriller" remixes has begun to feel a bit repetitive. To sum it up, we hope you relish this club dance extravaganza as much as we enjoyed curating it for you. There's enough sizzling content and delightful surprises to keep you entertained until our next Chill Out set drops. Until the next time...ENJOY! There's a lot to unpack here so let's get started. We kicked off the set with Beyonce's Break My Soul, which was a little slow out of the gate before people started getting on board. The songwriting credits included the writers for the 90s Robin S classic Show Me Love but to me – there were zero similarities to either song. Both use the standard House music loop featured in most songs back in the day but with little resemblance to that earworm hook courtesy of the StoneBridge remix, which is what made the original a massive hit. Finally, DJ Mike D had the good sense to remix the song with that familiar riff and it works in spades. Still, the best remix of the track that flips and turns it into a big room crowd-pleaser is from our good friends from Houston, Dirty Disco. In fact, Dirty Disco appears to be the go-to for remixing the biggest songs hitting the charts these days, and for good reason. While they don't have a specific signature (which is one of their finest qualities) — they seem to approach each remix with a different mindset and give it what it needs to turn it into a massive dance floor scorcher. You will hear plenty of examples in this set but the one that really takes the prize is their remix of Calvin Harris' Stay With Me featuring Justin Timberlake, Halsey, and Timberlake. We all know superstar DJ/producer Calvin Harris has a lot of friends in high places but even they couldn't save this song. Enter Dirty Disco from stage left. They massively restructured the original and turned it on its head, which further showcased what the song could be. The remix is so massive and catchy that it got a feature spot in this set when it otherwise wouldn't have. Another DJ people and labels should be keeping an eye on is DJ Ranny. He's been around a while but has proven himself to be more than just a big-room tribal circuit DJ. His WAP remix by Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B was a masterpiece several years ago. Party Favorz is proud to include his original Rave Bunny, which samples the Alice Deejay classic Better Off Alone and delivers an all-new smoking hot Future House song that should be on every DJ's setlist and on your Spotify playlist. https://youtu.be/ok7xXlw8yQc Back 2 School has not only the latest and biggest songs of the season but several earworms of the summer that have gotten new remixes that we here at Party Favorz can't get enough of. Also, there is a multitude of throwbacks included and I'll let y'all spot them as they come up because many aren't labeled...

But don't fret, we've got your back with our annual summer dance party mix! Just as the temperature plateaus at a bearable 90 degrees Fahrenheit, Party Favorz is swooping in to elevate your summer vibes. Forget about the humidity, grab a cold one, and let's talk about the soundtrack to your summer—Summer Melt. Why Summer Melt is the Summer Dance Party You Need Summer Melt is more than just a playlist; it's a journey through the current dance music scene. It’s an intoxicating blend of House, Melodic House, Nu-Disco, EDM, Tech House, and even Latin House. But it doesn’t stop there; the mix also includes jaw-dropping reworks of classic tracks that will make you do a double-take. We listened, we curated, and then we listened some more. The result? A finely-tuned summer dance party set that had us even tossing out some great songs because they just didn't make the cut. Yeah, it was a hard decision, but quality over quantity is our mantra. Indie Labels, We Hear You I know how it feels to be a small indie label or an up-and-coming artist struggling to get noticed. Trust me, we’re on your side. If your song didn't make it to Summer Melt, don't lose heart. Keep sending us your tracks, because we're always on the lookout for those hidden gems that deserve the spotlight. Party Favorz thrives on promoting music that often doesn’t get the attention it deserves. What's Brewing in August? Oh, Just a Little Tribute to Madonna As if Summer Melt isn't enough to keep you jamming, August is about to take things to a whole new level. Get ready for a month-long tribute to the Queen of Pop, Madonna! We’re not just skimming the surface here; we’re going all in with multiple volumes covering her classic dance tracks from start to present. Sure, Madonna has her compilation, "Finally Enough Love," coming up, but our approach is different—more authentic and truer to her club roots. And for the bootleg aficionados, we've got a surprise for you too. Personal Note: Time Off Before the Madonna Extravaganza I keep saying I need a break, and this time, I mean it. I've been running Party Favorz at full throttle since February, and I need to recharge and focus on personal commitments. I'll be taking a two-week break, but don't worry; when I come back, I plan on delivering our final Madonna tribute series that'll make this year memorable. So, if you're looking to make your summer sizzle with the ultimate Summer Dance Party, look no further than Party Favorz’s Summer Melt. It's the sonic experience you didn't know you needed but won't be able to live without. Until the next time...ENJOY!

Lately, the summer weather has been hotter than hell as we had a high of 102 degrees yesterday and a short-lived massive storm complete with hail that I got stuck in. Life is coming at everyone fast so I figured why put off what you can give the people today. If you thought any songs were missing from yesterday's drop — they're likely included here. I threw in a few extras to round the final set out and the end result is an early summer party you don't want to miss. Some of you may have been disappointed that I spent so much time sending up all the Gay Anthem series instead of new music but, to be honest — something is off about new releases. They're just not there and most of what is there is fairly generic. It appears that either the DJ services I rely on are either about to go under or there's just not enough new content that's being delivered regularly. It's hard to tell but when I dive into the world of YouTube, I'm not seeing a whole bunch that's wowing me at the moment. Putting this series together was one of the hardest things I had to do. Don't get me wrong, what's here is stellar and certainly, there was enough to fill two sets with a little help from last year's late entries and a few filler tracks. Still, I couldn't justify putting out redundant sets and passing them off as new material even if there were indeed new big releases from say Lizzo. I've been working my ass off to deliver those Gay Anthem sets for you folks and in the process lost several subscribers (some of them longtime) while picking up 5x as many during the same period. I don't think those folks will stick around but if they do, welcome. In short, I'm exhausted and need to recharge my batteries for at least a week. Don't plan on anything new this next weekend but I do have plans for a duel release just in time for the July 4th celebrations. I'll be trying something different. I'll be dropping the next Peak Hour set and I have another party set that's not like anything ever done before on this site that I think everyone will enjoy. It's something I had originally planned for November but put off due to scheduling issues but I think now is the perfect time to go for it. Still, July will bring our usual releases like our annual Beach House, Summer Sweat, and Summer Melt series which covers all our bases. I may shake up the Beach House series but to be honest, I haven't even started looking at those tracks yet so no decision has been made. Party Favorz is also anticipating the release of a new Beyonce hybrid dance and co...

This set features the biggest and I mean the BIGGEST Dance Club songs of the year right at the midpoint. As typical of past releases, songs released in the last quarter of the previous year are also included because they had so much staying power — they remained in heavy rotation on streaming and in the clubs well into 2022. To be honest, the club business still hasn't fully recovered to the point that it appears Billboard has officially done away with the chart, which started in the 1970s as the Disco Chart. Who's to say if it will ever be back but the one remaining chart they offer in dance music (Electronic Dance Music) isn't worth a grain of salt and frankly not even worth bothering with. For now, all decisions for songs included in this series are based on YouTube and Spotify streams and we're confident we got it right. The Catch-Up series also includes new releases that either will be or should be summer hits and are solely based on editorial decisions about what we think should be on your radar. While there are several of these songs included across these two volumes there are definitely some notable ones we think deserve your attention. First among these is a song released in the late fall of 2021 that apparently never came to our attention. Anabel Englund's 'Midnight Rapture' is an earworm delight that samples the Blondie #1 classic 'Rapture' from 1981. It's in keeping with many artists diving into their parent's record collections and pulling out delights from the decade and re-working the songs with fresh lyrics and a whole new vibe while keeping the original intact. Englund even creates a spoken-word interlude, which is more appropriate today than Debbie Harry's wonderbread rap in the original. Still, if you're not familiar with the song it's a pure delight. You should add it to your Spotify or Apple Music playlist. Sofi Tukker (a Party Favorz favorite) is back with a couple of earworms for your summer listening. 'Original Sin' follows their trademark sound complete with the 1960s bass riff Tucker Halpern injects to great effect into many of their biggest songs. The Crush Club remix takes into deeper house terriorty but injects a euphoric and uplifting riff into the song about halfway through and is repeated again towards the end. You can add it to your Spotify or Apple Music playlist. Our biggest pick here is 'Summer In New York' where Sofi Tukker lay down their cool kids indie vibe. Sofi even adds the familiar Suzanne Vega riff from her 1980s song 'Tom's Diner,
