.In Howard's own words: born to a Jewish father and a Catholic mother. And although my mother converted to Judaism when I was very young, she instilled a deep affection and respect for the Christian faith within our family.
Being brought up as a Jew, I studied the Hebrew language as it applied to the Old Testament and underwent my Bar Mitzvah at age thirteen. I regularly attended Sabbath services and religious study classes at our neighborhood Jewish Temple until the age of fifteen. And although I had come to feel a deep bond with God, shortly afterwards I drifted away from religious thought and practice altogether.
In my early twenties I earned a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and began full time employment, having no further reverence or consideration for religion, whatsoever.
I have had stories written about my business in major news publications from around the world, including; Fox News, The Economist magazine, the Robb Report, CBS News, Bloomberg News, Fast Company magazine, ESPN, ABC News, The Travel Channel, USA Today, Motor Trend magazine, Business Week magazine, and various international publications.
